Apologies if the method below seems impersonal, but we need to protect ourselves.
Please do not bother trying to send any attachment, of any sort, in an initial contact.
If you want us to see something in specific, let us know where we can find it.
And, we will be much more likely to respond, if you will include a link to a bio page,
or at least some type of info re: who you are, and who you are working with, for, or whatever.

And, please do NOT send us a cell number, and ask us to call or text it.
We do NOT use burner phones, and we are NOT going to risk giving out
a legit cell number to someone we don't know, who might maliciously try to wreck it.
If you have a cell phone, then you also have (or can easily get) an email address, too.

If we choose to reply, we will send you an email, from an address that
starts with "walkaway" followed by six digits. That's our signal that if
a malevolent person starts spreading around our email address to "bad actors",
we can simply walk away from that address, and create another, with a different number.
So, if you are sincere, and send us something you think we will respond to,
start watching your spam and other folders for a "walkaway" address.

If we do open the lines of communication with someone . . .
we are all-too-aware that the types of people who can be fooled into
actually believing that global warming is all just a hoax, are also
the types of people who can be convinced that lying, treachery, and death-threats
are good and useful competitive strategies, which can and should be used
to stop, or even just slow down, anyone who disagrees with them.

So, in case anyone might try to start out by lying to us, to gain our trust . . .
anything that anyone sends us – AFTER they have gone through the process of
contacting us, and asking us to get in touch with them, and promising that they are sincere –
will be downloaded only onto a thumb drive, using an old, outdated laptop
with almost no software on it, and with an "image" copy of the operating system,
in case we need to wipe that hard drive, and re-install the operating system,
because some imbalanced person managed to sneak some hate-ware into our system.

That is a simple, basic precaution we would suggest, for anyone who wants to
propose, or work on, or work with others on, anything that might offend
the types of people who can be fooled into believing that "global warming" is all just a hoax . . .
